Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Активное Чтение (bilingualreader.app) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Активное Чтение is a digital reading platform that lets you upload and read e-books (EPUB, FB2, FB3, PDF) and access AI-powered features (translation, summary, task generation, audio) using a prepaid credit wallet.
The service is provided "as is". We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- One person — one account. Creating duplicate accounts to abuse bonuses is prohibited.
4. Credits and payments
- AI features consume credits from your wallet. Current prices are shown in Settings → Wallet.
- Credits are purchased via Stripe (international) or YooKassa (Russia) in one-time top-up packages.
- Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts.
- All prices are displayed in the currency relevant to your region (EUR or RUB).
5. User content
You may upload only e-books you own legally (purchased or DRM-free). You retain full ownership of your uploaded files. We do not claim any rights over your books or notes.
You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates third-party rights. We may remove such content and terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this rule.
6. Prohibited uses
- Attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, or attack the platform.
- Reselling access or credits to third parties.
- Using automated scripts to abuse AI features.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@bilingualreader.app. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account deletion (see Refund Policy). We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Romanian courts, except where EU consumer protection law provides otherwise.
